The end of 2009

I can't believe that it's here already. It just seems as if we were just getting over that Y2K excitement(remember that?) and now the next big thing that every one is afriad of is "2012". People! Relax.

Let's get back on track, shall we? Again, we are now in December which signifies the end of the year, but can also signify the end of whatever and the start of something better. I hope that all the bad that was in 2009 stays in 2009 and that things continue to get better in 2010. I couldn't ask for more. I hope the ball keep moving forward for everyone and that it gets better each day. That there would be ideal.

I've been cooking at home a lot more lately which is always good. It helps know what we are ingesting plus it helps put money back in the piggy bank. I'm really enjoying it too. Hopefully I will be able to share some recipes on here for you guys to read. Give something back, at least. Right? I've also started playing with the settings on my point and shoot camera. Figured since I have it, I better start getting some nice images and print my favorites to post in my home. Then who knows, maybe if I can develop some talent I can invest in a nice DSLR. That would be ideal!

starting from scratch....

I moved! Well techincally I did. I moved from powweb to webhosting pad. They are way better. That is in terms of storage and all that jazz. Plus I'm starting everything from scratch. Shall we move on?

This summer has been exceptionally well for everyone around here. Some of us got married. Others had or are having their babies. Some even bought their very first home! For us, we are finally starting to see the light. Which I couldn't ask for more. So at the moment, life is good.

In the past few months we have done the following and or about to do them. We went to the county fair, which my tummy did not agree with. I went to see No Doubt live with a good friend and it was great! Then come October, my husband and I are thinking about going to Los Angeles and San Diego. It's been quite some time since we have had a vacation and we really deserve it.

Here's to ending the summer on a good note!
